I know different softwares are good with different styles of animation, and I wasn't sure which would work well with my art style. Anyone have any recommendations on a program or animation style that would look good for short animations?

Don't just list a bunch of programs or tell me some personal experience story. I'm looking for actual recommendations based on my art style. I don't want to have wasted work on something and then get negative feedback because my art style didn't go well with the animation style I chose.
