Just a hobbyist looking for somewhere to put my drawings. I mainly have a half toon, half anime artstyle. I'm pretty weird, drawing what may not be drawn often. I'm also a bit of a perv, sometimes drawing lewd pics of characters that don't have many.

Good Replacements For DeviantArt?

Posted by OddyMcStrange - January 1st, 2021

Around the middle of last year I announced that I'd be deactivating my account on DeviantArt at the end of the year. Now that it's the next year and I've left DeviantArt, I may have to find another place to have my stuff available. Have any new DeviantArt alternatives appeared since the last time I asked? Preferably sites that are good for hobbyists to do their own thing, without abusive flaggers and an incompetent bot staff.

I've thought about it, but I don't know much Japanese. I'm also not sure how well my cartoon style would go over where anime/manga is the main thing.

Twitter?

From what I've heard, Twitter is a pretty bad place. I should probably stay clear of there.

Twitter

I've heard some pretty bad stuff about Twitter. It may be best if I avoid there.

have you tried Reddit?

I always thought Reddit was for memes and discussions. I didn't know they did anything with art.

@OddyMcStrange its for everything, ya know not just for Memes and discussions, but it gives you opportunity to flesh out your Worldbuilding with like-minded individuals who also like worldbuilding too

I generally don't think the way most people do, so that doesn't sound very promising. I'm not really all that into worldbuilding, even if it happens as a side product of working on my aliens.

@OddyMcStrange it's just my suggestion that is all
