As many of you already know, DeviantArt isn't a very good place to host your art. If you thought it was bad before, it's gotten much worse now.
So a few months ago, DeviantArt decided that they'd be more like Google and have certain parts of the site run by bots. One of those parts is handling and responding to the flagging of submissions. A boneheadedly hazardous move, as many people on YouTube would know. DeviantArt also has this group of troublemakers that purposely go around flagging submissions that trigger them. Known as "Special Snowflakes", they're a bunch of social justice wannabes that flag anything they find with mature content (or what they "think" is mature content).
Before the big automation, these guys would just get in trouble and their flags would be dismissed. Now DeviantArt's bot may decide to delete submissions or even ban users because of these flags, regardless of the rules. So submissions (including some of mine) are getting wrongfully removed left and right and people are getting banned, because these "special snowflake" trolls are abusing DeviantArt's bot. Even worse is how you can't get any help with this, because the help desk is ALSO run by a bot. It only replies with pre-typed phrases and paragraphs from the FAQs section.
So if anyone was thinking about doing anything on DeviantArt, I'd advise you to be careful.
