Recently I've noticed an extra number in the Credits & Info box with "Faves" next to it. This is actually very helpful in the feedback department. With haters being mostly the only ones who vote, seeing how many people actually liked my pics (even though they don't vote) lets me know what's popular and what I should upload more of here.

A few days ago I recieved an invitation to the Art Portal. So it looks like I'm back on the "scouted" list. At least I'll be able to submit pics again. I'm a little relunctant to submit much, though. Whoever wanted me "unscouted" the first time around might try to make it happen again if I upload stuff he/she doesn't like. I'll still put stuff here, just not as often as before.

Today I tried to upload a pic. When I click the submit button I get the message "Unscouted Limit Exceeded". So apparently you can only upload about 200 pics if you're not on the scouted list and Newgrounds will block you from uploading any more until you get scouted.

Welp, since that isn't happening anytime soon, I'd might as well say bye-bye to Newgrounds and find a different art site to put pictures that aren't safe for DeviantArt. Don't worry, I'll leave what I have here for the few fans I have, and my many haters won't have to see any more new pics to get mad at.

It looks like I have about 46 fans now. It's nice that even a weirdo like me can get some fans. However, after Newgrounds made it so you can see how many people rate your stuff, I noticed that many of my pics have only one or two votes from people who DON'T like them. Haters are always going to be more "engaged" than fans, that's normal throughout the web. I'm not going to harass my fans to give me high ratings, but it would be nice if the people who liked my stuff would rate them too.

So I tried updating my account info a little while ago, and Newgrounds gives me the message "E-mail addresses from yandex.com cannot be used on this site."  What's up with this!? Since when did they put up a blacklist for E-mail providers? I don't know how much more of this site I can take...

At some point Newgrounds changed how stuff appears when you search for something. It's annoying sometimes when it fetches words that have similar letter arrangements, resulting in unrelated search results. But one big thing I've noticed is that pictures from people that are not "scouted" or pictures that weren't included in the art portal also appear in the search. If you can now find stuff that's not actually part of the portal then it doesn't really matter if I check the "include in art portal" box or not. Apparently there are also users that can rate pictures even when the option to rate them is unavailable, so I guess even less matters there.

A while back I had started running out of ideas on stuff to draw. So I decided to take a break from things related to drawing. This break ended up becoming more of a vacation, as I just couldn't get any ideas I wanted to work on.


A bunch of new stuff started coming out in the past year, and I finally started getting ideas again. First I was going to update some of my older pics, then I was going to upload some new ones I'd been working on. I don't think anyone really missed me, being the toony oddball I am. But I'm back to add more weirdness to the Internet, so stay tuned.

I have a lot of E rated stuff on DeviantArt. I see comments on Newgrounds about how people would rather see M or A rated stuff here. Whether they're just joking around or not, should I stop listening to them and just put more of my E rated pics here?

After receiving more or less useful feedback (mostly less) I've decided to do what's most comfortable with me rather than what others prefer to do, including submissions, thumbnails, ratings, etc. I'm not upset if people dislike my stuff. I purposely draw characters and topics that don't have many pictures in a cartoony style that's less celebrated. If there aren't many pictures of something then obviously not many people like it, right? I'm perfectly fine with my art style. I may change character design or presentation method as I become more experienced with a topic, but my style has been decided. So, that's about it. If you find one of my pictures you'll know why it's like that and why you may like/hate it.

I haven't been giving much attention to one of my main interests lately. I'm going to start trying to draw more aliens. Maybe even Ben 10 characters, since I'm quite a fan of the series.
